NEWS!!! "Charters of Freedom" monument will be erected at the museum!
The James Madison Museum of Orange County Heritage will be the Orange County site for the "Charters of Freedom" monument. Styled after their exhibit at The National Archives, life-sized bronze reproductions of The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States of America, and The Bill of Rights, housed in independent cases, will be erected on our Church Street lot. The exhibit will be open 24/7, free to the public and easily accessed. Hoping to have the project completed by the end of 2021 or early 2022.
